VS4000 Semi-Automatic CD Case Wrapper

The VS4000 has been specially designed to provide a professional CD Jewel Case wrapping facility capable of wrapping up to 300 CDs per hour.

The VS4000 has been specially designed to provide a professional CD Jewel Case wrapping facility. Operators wishing to wrap small to medium quantities of cases can now achieve a quality finish equal to the standard of more expensive finishing machines. The VS4000 is a tabletop mounted unit, which can be easily transported if required. The semi-automatic operation is simple and effective. The first seal is effected manually and the finishing folds and seal are completed automatically. Pre-cut sheets of the polypropylene wrapping material are placed on the VS4000 folding tray. Simply place the Jewel Case onto the pre-cut sheet, close the cover, which tensions the wrapping, then and make the first heat-seal. Place the Jewel Case into the hopper for the second fold and seal operation, which is fully automatic. The result is a professionally folded and sealed CD. The wrapping material can be supplied in boxes of 10,000 sheets, alternatively the full specification for the wrapping material is defined overleaf for local supply. The VS4000 is a cost effective solution to providing professionally finished CD packaging for short run work, at a tenth of the cost of industrial equipment.

VS4000X Option: The VS4000X has been designed to increase the throughput of the VS4000 to produce a capacity of wrapping 500 cases per hour. This small table top unit enables an extra operator to complete the first stage. The operator simply places the jewel case onto the pre-cut sheet, closes the cover, which automatically tensions the wrapper and makes the first weld. The operator then drops the jewel case into the hopper of the main VS4000 wrapper for it to complete the operation. With the combination of the VS4000 and the VS4000X operators can achieve a throughput of over 500 jewel cases per hour.
